Blood Donation Drive in Center- Summer time A blood donation drive is generally conducted during summer time once a year to provide devotees a chance to donate blood to Gulf Coast Blood Bank. Clothing Distribution for Needy and Poor - Easter We distribute underwear, undershirts, and hand towels to people living in shelters in downtown Houston. Blankets Distribution for Needy and Poor - Christmas We distribute blankets, socks, gloves, and caps to people living in shelters in downtown Houston. Food Drive -Throughout the year Devotees buy non-perishable vegetarian food items and bring them to the center every week. The items are collected in bins kept in the foyer. The collected food items are periodically delivered to the Houston Food Bank, the Turning Point Center in Houston and the Women's shelter in Richmond, Texas. All devotees, including SSE children, can participate in these services. Regional Medical Camps: Periodic Periodic medical camps are held to provide medical assistance in rural areas of Texas; typically devotees from Sai Region 10 participate in this service.
